Summary

The past few weeks have been nothing short of crazy, from a second assassination attempt on former President Trump to claims that Haitian immigrants in Springfield, Ohio were eating pets dominated the news cycle. Rachel sits down with former NFL player and philanthropist Jack Brewer to discuss his thoughts on both of the matters, as someone who has done extensive work in Haiti and has a personal relationship with the former President. They also discuss why they believe the U.S. is experiencing a spiritual battle, and how important the election is in determining if this addressed or left to worsen. All right. Well, welcome to From the Kitchen Table today. I'm going to be handling the podcast all by myself, Sean. I had some scheduling issues, but one scheduling issue we don't have to worry about

0:22.4

as our next guest, which I'm so excited to have because I have so many interesting questions to ask

0:27.4

about the election, but also about the situation in Haiti. So with no further ado, I want to

0:33.3

introduce you to our good friend, Jack Brewer, as everyone knows, he's a star athlete. He played for the

0:38.8

Minnesota Vikings, the Eagles, the Giants, the Cardinals in Arizona. He's a husband. He's the father.

0:44.7

He's the CEO of the Brewer Group. And of course, his philanthropy is well known to anybody who watches

0:50.1

Fox News. He's the CEO and founder of the Brewer Foundation. Jack, welcome to the kitchen

0:55.4

table. Great to be back, Rachel. Yeah, you know, you've been on Sean and I's mind a lot lately.

1:02.3

You know, Haiti is in the news. It never seems to be in the news for good reasons. It's just

1:07.6

the case with Haiti. And no one knows Haiti more than you.

1:11.7

So I want to talk to you about Haiti and the reason it's in the news right now.

1:16.7

So as you know in Springfield, Ohio, there were rumors and people talking about pets being missing, about ducks in parks and geese, being eaten, perhaps sacrifice by illegals who have

1:33.7

descended on this town.

1:35.0

So this is a town about 60,000 people and 15,000 illegal Haitians have been moved there

1:44.0

through, as you know, the illegal immigration

1:46.7

crisis that we're having in our country. And, you know, I started to see these stories

1:51.7

surfacing, Jack, online, but I kind of tossed it away. And then the whole situation exploded

1:57.9

because Donald Trump, of course, brought it up in that infamous debate he had

2:03.8

with Kamala Harris a couple weeks ago. The press immediately jumped on him, as you know, saying

2:10.0

he was lying. He was a conspiracy theorist. He was just believing, you know, the rumors and lies

2:15.5

online. And then this amazing thing happened where cat memes and duck memes started popping

2:22.4

up everywhere that Donald Trump was the, you know, the patron saint of all animals and whatnot.
