Hey gang and welcome back to another episode of Short Stories for Kids!

I hope you guys are doing really really well and before we get into this episode story,

here is a quick word for the grownups.

Okay, so today's story request comes from Jack and he wants a story about himself,

his little brother Luke, and a snake. And okay, that was it, very very simple.

Let's see what our writer Alex has come up with. Are you guys ready? Enjoy. Meet Jack.

He is a boy who loves snakes. His younger brother Luke is also equally devoted to these

wild creatures. Unlike most people, both of these two brothers think that snakes are amazing.

Jack and Luke think that snakes are lovely and adorable. And both of them love to watch snakes

on TV, read books about them, and they wish more than anything they could have one as a pet.

Jack, what do you think people are afraid of snakes? Ask Luke, his little brother, both of them

returning home from school. Because they only see the negative side of snakes, but along with human

beings, every other creature has both its good and bad sides. So snakes also have a good side,

replied Jack after deep contemplation. And what's that? Ask Luke, well, said Jack,

they're extremely calm in nature. They react or attack us only when we try to disturb them.

Their attack is for self-defense. Oh, I see, said Luke, and kept on walking. The boys

changed their route and took a shortcut on their way home. They walked down a bushy quiet area,

which seemed kind of secluded. After a while, they noticed something moving under a pile of fallen

dry leaves. The boys stopped in their tracks. Hey Luke, look, exclaim Jack in surprise.

Something's in there. Let's check Jack, said Luke. With slow, silent footsteps,

the grew heavier near the moving pile of leaves, they finally reached the moving heap.

Jack bent forward and almost touched the pile.
