I'm Lucy your host and I'm here to read you guys a magical adventure pack story every

single week where you just might be the hero.

So today's story request comes from Avelina who is 8 years old and lives in Canada and

she would like a story about a magical village, a map that can take you to the future or

the past and an immortal person that can change into anything.

Okay here we go.

Canada is a very large country covered in vast forests with towering mountains.

It's a country where you can find yourself the only human being for a hundred miles in every

direction. Most people though lived in the Canadian towns and cities just like Avelina did.

On Avelina's 8th birthday she had received a mysterious box from a distant relative which

when opened had revealed an old and dusty map. At first she was disappointed thinking that the

map was nothing but an old piece of yellow newspaper. But over the coming hours she had studied it

and learned it contained a secret. It was a map to the magical village of Waywood but finding this

village left Avelina with one major problem. She was just eight years old after all.

She could hardly drive herself there. So that night she placed the box containing the map

beside her bed and instead of going to sleep she tried to think of a way she could go searching

for the village of Waywood.

Avelina sat up. It sounded as if someone was knocking lightly on her window.
