This past week, I was in the great state of Vermont doing a whole bunch of things actually,

but among those things, I went to Burlington and sat down with Jason Leventhal in the

new Jay Ski's intergalactic headquarters.

Now, Jay, of course, has really been at the forefront of so many different aspects of

the modern ski world.

And so it is always a good idea to check in from time to time with Jay and to get his

take on really the state of the snow sports industry and

what he's seeing.

And that's exactly what we do in this conversation.

So you're going to be hearing some of Jay's predictions for this coming season.

We talk about certain trends that he's seeing.

We talk about one major thing that has to happen across the entire ski industry.

And this is going to take a lot of different players to make this happen.

And, of course, we talk about why Jay decided to open up this new space on 247 Main Street in Burlington, Vermont.

And one other thing that Jay and I talked about, that we did not keep it in our recorded conversation,

Jay was adamant that we should be charging twice as much, actually more than twice

as much as we are, for our winter buyer's guide. He actually chewed me out about this. For real,
