The recap of Idouliabast country, stage six.

0:04.8

This was an absolute war, this stage from start to finish,

0:08.8

from Goisper and Zuala to Bergarra, 135 kilometers long.

0:15.1

We have constant medium mountain climbs all about 7% pretty much and they go about can I count

0:24.8

let's say that they're 12 to 20 minutes a lot of these uh some are a bit shorter no rampas

0:31.1

so it is really different to some of the other stages it's a flat flat finish. The weather today was feral. It was

0:40.2

heavy rain. I don't know how cold it was, but I mean, the opening TT was very hot and the

0:46.9

stage afterwards. So even it was much, much cooler today and heavy, heavy rain. Brutal stage,

0:53.5

very entertaining and a classic.

0:57.4

Basque needed one rainy stage, I suppose. Before we get into the stage recap, Benji,

1:05.2

you wanted to say something. Yes, indeed. Some of you might have noticed my post on Twitter

1:10.4

and Instagram today where I shared that I've received a letter from the UCI in relation to my, and I quote, injurious comments on social media. I know many of you likely want to hear a bit more about that, but if I'm being honest, it's been a pretty stressful week and I kind of just want to talk about Bass Country today. So we plan to discuss it properly in a weekly show next week. That's all I have to say about it for now. But I do want to talk about this stage here, I've got to be honest, Patrick. We started this podcast. You did the intro. And for about two minutes, I was trying to find the tab in which you were speaking to me because had the live stream of the podcast open. So I was hearing you double, so I have no clue what you said. I assume you went through the parkour. So I guess it's time to jump into the early breakway here, because to be honest, the breakways form before the broadcast start, Patrick. There was a five-man group ahead with Soled, Scalmosa, Juan Pei, Helium Peter Oxenberg, the UnoX rider. Those are pretty solid riders, but... The Auxenberg is from Inios. What's right? Just because he's Danish doesn't mean you're on UnoX. Sorry. Did I see Unox? My bad. Ineos, I mean. But also, no, but it's an easy

2:17.6

mistake to make because the Ineos rain

2:19.4

jackets really

2:21.5

look like the

2:22.6

UnoX jackets.

2:25.6

Fair, because we saw a lot of UnoX

2:27.4

jackets as well in the second group.

2:29.7

32 riders in the chasing group.

2:31.9

They were always like half a minute

2:33.5

to a minute, then maybe behind the first group. They were always like half a minute to a minute,
