Inside the Birds is back what's going on, everybody. It is the most anticipated Inside the Birds podcast of the off season.

I'm Jeff Mosher with Adam Kaplan and Andrew DeCechko from Inside thebirds.com as we do,

our annual NFL draft, first round mock cast.

And I'm excited.

I think there are some interesting parts of the draft fellas that, first of all,

entice me. Starting off the bat, you got six teams that have two first round picks, right? So

right off the bat tends to make me think there'll be some trades, you know, you'd like to

package picks and move up. There's a good opportunity for that. And I'll get your guys' thoughts on this real quick before we get started.

You could argue, I mean, I didn't even have to argue it.

It's true.

Five or six of the top ten talents of this team of this draft are not necessarily

players who are of positional value for a lot of teams.

Jeremiah Love, the running back, Sunny

Stiles, off-ball linebacker, Caleb Downs, safety, Kenyon, Tideke, Tideen, Vagaiy, Guard only, right?

So that, to me, Adam, I'll start with you, kind of makes the draft really interesting as far as

do teams just sacrifice that for the betterment of

taking the best player or do they hold true and try to overdraft other guys or do they move

around and close trades? I think it's fascinating. Well, here's the thing, as we've been talking about

for weeks now, this is not a blue chip first round. It's a weak blue chip first round, but there's

depth at a lot of positions where you can get quality starter, second, third, maybe even the fourth round. And well, as we go through this draft, we'll explain as we get to certain positions, how deep it is. But honestly, from, I mean, I haven't had a team tell me there's more than really 15 blue chip players,

and I think that's a lot.

I think it's closer to 10, to be honest with you.
