homes as torrential rain battered Italy's northern Emilia, Romania, region, triggering floods,

landslides, and worse.

I welcome Lorenzo Fiori of the Ensaldo Foundation, he is in Milan, and you will recall for more

than a year.

Lorenzo has been watching very carefully the Po River, the great arterial system of

northern Italy that feeds the agriculture, the hydroelectric dams, that is the strength

and health of Italy, and the Po River has struggled for the last year, at least, with a drought,

with a severe drop in rainfall, so much so that the concern again was for the crop, the

saltwater, the brackish water coming up the Po because it was so weak in its flow, then

suddenly the skies opened.
