The had the worst opening weekend in Marvel history ever.

I mean, this is insane.

These are like billion dollar films typically.

I mean, they blow the box office out of the water.

And so when I say, oh, it made 47 million dollars this weekend, it's like, well,

dang, that sounds like a lot. But it set a new record for being the lowest

opening weekend ever. It topped the Incredible Hulk, which recently, which previously held the record for the lowest domestic opening

of any MCU movie at 55.4 million, and that was back in 2008, so a lot of people weren't making it out to the movies anyway.

Which Marvel movie was it?

Brie Larson's in it, a bunch of other really great actresses and I mean yeah I don't know if this means this is the end for like the like the Avengers

Superhero type people, but it seems like we're all little fatigued by it. What's the premise?

Cassie it's basically like there's Miss Marvel.

It's a lot of the TV shows that they've been rolling out to those characters.

And I think I don't remember seeing hardly any promotion around it.

I don't either.

And I have a feeling like the studio is

being like it's Marvel we can rest on our laurels but because they're not

promoting it and it's not like Thor or Loki or one of the mains that people aren't because I'm big into Marvel.

I'm watching Loki every week like I like it and I've barely glimpsed any kind of

promotion around it. Is that because of the strike? Oh it could be. Yeah, it could be because of a strike. Oh, true. I'm because I didn't even realize normally and I'm not into
