Open your Bibles to Psalm 119, verse 68. Thank you, Lord. God's a good God. Amen. We talked about His goodness

last week, and we're still kind of on it, but we're going to talk about his goodness in a different

round. How about that? His goodness is what we do. Amen? We do the goodness of God. It says,

in this Psalm it says, you're good, you are good and you do good. Now, it doesn't say you do good, so that makes you good. You know, so many people

decide that what, you have to do something to make yourself this. If you be that, you will do it.

It's not acting like that. It's being that. He is good.

Therefore, he does good.

You know, a lot of people say, well, you know, that really don't know God, they say, well, he's done it.

He did a lot of bad things in the Bible.

No, he didn't do anything bad.

Because if God did it, it was good.

You may not understand, as Brother Moore said last Sunday, you may not understand why he did it, or the purpose behind it, or everything that went, you know, you can't see, you can't see

as far back or as far forward as he can, can you?

It's kind of like he told Job, where were you when I stretched out the heavens?

You know, we don't know these things. And not knowing them

does not give us the right to decide, you know, what he did or how he did it was right or wrong.

If he did it, it was just. It was good. It was right. It was righteous. And it was the best thing

that could have happened at the time.

Amen?

And so many times what he wants to do and what we allow him to do are so far apart.

You know, so much of the time we're living in the outskirtsirts of the goodness of God and he's trying to get us

all the way in and there's so much more to it and and to be a doer like he is he's good and he does good
