Good evening and welcome and happy anniversary.

0:03.2

Tonight is the one-year anniversary of Trump's second election to the presidency.

0:08.4

It was a year ago tonight that Donald Trump not only won, but won a majority of the popular vote.

0:15.3

And not only one a majority of the popular vote, but won with a coalition that was broader than any Republican coalition, probably since

0:22.9

1984 with the Reagan landslide. So a 40-year coalition. And at the time, looking at not just how

0:30.9

1:12.9

So it's probably not too early to start thinking through what comes after Donald Trump.

1:18.2

No respect to the sitting, disrespect to the sitting president, but of course,

1:22.0

there's going to be something after him because he can't run again.

1:25.6

And it leads to say people are thinking about that and not only are they thinking

1:28.2

about it, they're already arguing and fighting about it. There is what Politico is calling a civil war in

1:34.3

the Republican Party. And it's over, of course, identity, because the only wars we have in this country,

1:40.9

the only sanctioned wars we have domestically are about identity.

1:45.4

BLM!
