All right, one thing that most people in Western Washington agree on

is that traffic sucks.

And now, sometimes that's because Washdot just loves to close every on-ramp exit major thoroughfare and bridge at the exact same time.

Sometimes it's because multiple major events are going on and sometimes it's because of a 45 vehicle crash.

That was the case yesterday afternoon.

Multiple collisions on I-5 backed up traffic about five miles

for several hours before things finally got sorted out.

Then, for good measure, a landslide in Bellingham closed the northbound lanes of I-5 for about 10 hours.

And as much as I hate traffic, I would rather spend 10 hours stuck on high-5 than spend six days lost in the

Australian wilderness. That's what happened to a photographer recently. She basically
