You know that feeling when something small seems like no big deal, like skipping your quiet time just this once or that harmless compromise you keep making. Well, in today's episode, Alex is preaching through Matthew 27 with a sermon called It's the Little Things.

He talks about how Judas's betrayal of Jesus didn't start with 30 pieces of silver.

It started way smaller than that.

Just like American Airlines Flight, 191 didn't crash because of one catastrophic failure.

It crashed because of one tiny bolt that nobody checked.

The beautiful news is this.

If small compromises lead to big consequences, then small acts of faithfulness lead to big kingdom impact.

Jesus himself only ministered for three years within a 30 mile

radius of his hometown, yet his obedience brought salvation to the world. So grab your Bible,

open up to Matthew chapter 27, verses 1 through 10, and let's dive in. What is the bolt you need to check

today? Great question. What is that bolt? Yeah. In 1979, American Airlines Flight 191 crashed and 271 people died. So almost 300 people died. And it happened because of improper maintenance checkups.

This one little bolts, you know, it was something to do with this one little bolt that had microscopic cracks in it.

And the cracks just kept getting bigger and bigger and bigger over someone not doing their job.

And eventually it led to the loss of almost 300 lives.

So what is that little bolt that has microscopic cracks in it?

And every time you take off to go fly onto the next thing,

you don't check it and it's growing and growing and growing. Also, the

positive side of this is what is that little bolt that you do check up on, you know, that you do

obediently check up on and how that little thing leads to lots of life in the future. We're going

to answer all these questions in today's episode.
