It's a real shame that so much of this podcast is now dedicated to covering Elon Musk.

It is.

Like, it used to be back in the good old days.

Sometimes he'd say something for Tesla.

Tesla would do something dumb, and we'd get to come on here and clown on him and people who, like, constantly slobber on it.

Yeah.

But now I've got to genuinely worry about him taking over the government, destroying the federal bureaucracy, making our lives worse in the most subtle ways.

Yeah, he's got control of the Treasury.

Yeah.

Like, he's controlling his social security payments go out right now.

That's ridiculous.

It's very troubling and it's sad to see that so much of our runtime now is dedicated to this guy.

But unfortunately, that trend will continue as long as he is functionally running the federal government and dismantling it from within. Yeah, unfortunately. You know what I mean? But I am happy to be hating on Elon Muskmore. Yeah. I think that's something that unfortunately has gone by the wayside for far too long. And this is the consequence. Yeah, you know, it's cathartic. And also, you know, with make in front of Trump, he's able, any insult he gets, it rolls off his back pretty easily. Exactly. He's quick with the comebacks. Usually, usually he can get away with like, yeah, shooting a comeback back or just completely ignoring the person. There's a few times, you know, when Kamala Harris got under his skin in the debate, talking about his crowd sizes and stuff. But for the most part, Trump can roll with the punches. Elon's not the same. No. Roe gets very triggered. He got called out by like an astronaut on Twitter the other day. Oh my, that. For blatantly lying. And then he was like, liar, you are lying, liar. Where did you get this information?

And then he just called him the Arsler. Yeah. And then Elon Musk went on Twitter. Like this week, I don't know what emboldened him to start doing this. He just started dropping it in like every other tweet was just either him calling somebody the arsler or him tweeting a meme that involved the arsler. And it's like not even like a new like post-irony internet shit post kind of meme. It's like a 2013 style meme. I can't stand it. He's 50 years old. He's a fucking child. Yeah. This is how you can tell that like people like him and J.D. Vance were shaped by the Gamergate era. Yep. Because that's exactly where this shit is from. And that was, you know, I wasn't as politically active or knowledgeable back then, but I can feel through like cultural osmosis that that shit sucked. Uh-huh. And it sucks now. Yeah. The remnants of it suck too. But stupid. Yeah. But the thing I wanted to bring up here is that, you know, Elon Musk has been doing all this stuff under the pretext of efficiency. Yeah.

It's making the pretext of efficiency.

Yeah.

It's making the government run more efficient.

Yeah.

And who doesn't like efficiency?

Who doesn't like if you're afraid of an audit that you're corrupt?

All you liberals being against government efficiency, like, that tells me all I need to know, really.
