Now before we start today, I just want to share a heartwarming story because amidst the chaos

unfolding in Los Angeles, one mother is being praised for her approach to safe activism.

43-year-old Los Angeles' mother, Melissa Fairfield, staged a full-scale riot in her Beverly

Hills home in order to give her children rider an ocean the full experience

of protesting will also staying safe.

And hats off to her because the California mother created a controlled environment where her kids

were encouraged to trash the living room, light their bikes on fire with Molotov Mocktales,

spray paint A-Cab on any television in the finished basement, and even loot the

mock Prada storefront she had set up in the foyer of her home, all while jamming out to

their favorite rage against the machine anthems. Melissa went on to say, it's very important to us

that protesting being an enormous part of our kids' lives, but until their 13, would rather them

do it at home. And I'll say, Melissa pulled no punches to achieve that goal,

as she even hired a local improv troupe to set up a barricade in the backyard

and pepper spray the children with harm-free Himalayan salt water

before arresting them, driving them around the block,

and dropping them off back home unharmed in time for soccer practice,

criminal records intact. Safety is the key word there, because after going public with the story,

Melissa has received so much support from other mothers in the community. She has even considered

selling riot reenactment packages to other California parents who want their kids to experience

the revolution in a safe way

and says she is really looking forward to the 2028 election where the kids will be ready

for an unsupervised riot and by that point are also hopefully trans.
