0:09.3	And it's going to feel more like a rapid fire series of voice notes than a formal episode of a podcast because, hello, real talk.
0:17.5	Now listen, I just won my pro card at the FMG show in Vegas. Crazy, right? Came home on a
0:25.1	high and then immediately unexpectedly lost my grandfather. 91 years old, and I know you may be like
0:32.4	unexpectedly at 91 years old. Yes, he still lived independently. My mom was actually living with him and
0:40.2	him taking care of her because he had so much more time in his home as ADA compliant to where my
0:45.8	mom and dad's home is not. So he was still going up for his morning walk every day. He was still
0:51.7	working his cows, still driving, still working his tractor,
0:55.3	still working in the barn, still mowing grass, still doing everything. But it was so beautiful the way
1:01.5	that Wednesday morning, he had a breakfast with my mom. They had a wonderful conversation. He
1:08.7	wrapped up the trash and told her he was headed out to take the
1:11.8	trash out and then to go on his morning walk. And he collapsed. And by the time my dad made it
1:21.6	there, my mom had gotten to say goodbye to him and he was gone. And I did not get to say goodbye, but I have this crazy piece
1:30.9	about me, which I'll probably say for another episode, but I will tell you the Monday of my peak
1:37.9	week, so the Monday before my show in Vegas, my son decided to cut his hair. And by cut his hair,
1:44.0	I mean scalp himself, really bad. And my grandfather was a barber his entire life. He actually gave my son his first haircut. And, you know, Popo got to see it and helped fix it and step in and save the day. Because Croix got to see him two times this weekend when I was in Vegas. My dad was taking care of him. And so my dad obviously still had to go and help do things with my mom's heart pump and different things over the weekend. And my mom's been at my Popo's house. And so Croix got to see him and he got to see the haircut. And then when I gave the eulogy, Croy's been so embarrassed about his haircut. But I asked him if he would come up not to show it. I let him
2:18.5	wear a hat in church, which is a big no-no, but he's so embarrassed. And I just told the story that
2:23.9	it was like God had this beautiful, gentle homecoming for this very gentle man who never struggled
2:33.1	with addiction, anger, violence. Literally, the most unhealthy this man was
2:40.2	was he got caught burning Bluebell ice cream cartons in his little smoke shop because he didn't
2:47.7	want my Nana or my mom to see how much sweets and treats he had.
2:52.0	But he was a man of not many words, but very consistent actions.
