Hey friend, it's Kristen. Grab your scriptures and let's dive into Exodus 14, verse 31.

Now, growing up, I could not understand how the Israelites could be so forgetful of God's power. They were being chased

by Pharaoh's army and facing potential death when the Lord gave Moses the power to part the

Red Sea, a body of water 190 miles wide at its widest point. The Israelites walked across

miles of land with the sea standing like a wall on either side. You would

think such a miraculous experience would change them forever. Quote, and Israel saw that great work which

the Lord did upon the Egyptians, and the people feared the Lord and believed the Lord and his servant

Moses. That miracle did change the Israelites for a while. Unfortunately, it wasn't long

before they were murmuring and doubting again in a pattern that would repeat itself over and

over. They would be humbled by a miracle and then murmur with doubt soon after. But why? Why did

the Israelites struggle to believe despite all they'd seen? Because real conversion is a matter of the heart, not the eyes. The fact is that even Satan knows that Jesus is the Christ, and so do all of his devilish helpers. But their hearts are hardened to it. Knowing isn't enough to change us, but feeling is. it doesn't matter so much what we see or know

as it does what we feel and how we change in response so the takeaway of the day in five words or

less is it's not enough to see thanks so much for being here today and for coming closer to

Christ with me one minute at a time.
