Welcome to the Redmond Podcast. I am your guest host today, Sarah Isger. And we will be

talking to Mo Elayfi. Mo is a frequent guest all over our podcasts and our lives. But

just in case you're not familiar, Mo was the spokesperson for the Democratic National

Committee and Hillary Clinton and basically a whole bunch of people with D's next to their

name. But now he is the executive director of the Institute of Politics and Public Service

at Georgetown University. We have endless things to talk about ranging from Halloween to

our favorite food trucks to, well, he had the vice president at the former vice president

Mike Pence at Georgetown recently. What's going on at colleges? Maybe some midterms. We'll

see if we even get there. Mo, thanks for being here.

So we were just discussing the fact that it's very important to me that you're on the

remnant with me as the guest host because Joe has been trying to get you on for a long

time and you've had conflicts. And it's so great that it worked out when he's not around,

frankly.

I will say, you know, I always enjoy coming on the remnant with Joe. We have some of

the best conversations. But the last few times he's tried, my schedule just hasn't worked

and when he heard me on the dispatch podcast with you, I got a very snippy email from him.
