And now, broadcasting from the Palatial Bob and Sherry Studios. It's Bob and Sherry. Uh-huh. It is Bob and Sherry. And I was just reading this thing about coffee. If I see an article about coffee, I always read it. It was my father's first company was called Coffee Time.

They did coffee servicing for large companies throughout New Haven.

And it's funny that I didn't, this is about how much coffee the average person drinks.

I didn't start drinking coffee until I got into radio.

I never had a cup in my life.

And then I got my first job, like I was 19 in college. And I had to do morning drive. And I would,

I said, I better, I better start drinking coffee. Everyone around here seems to be drinking

coffee and smoking cigarettes. So I just, I took those things up, you know? I just finally took it up. And up and been drinking coffee and enjoying it ever since. How much coffee do you think the average person consumes in a day? In a day? In a day? The average coffee drinker in America. Okay. I'm going to go with three cups. 3.4. That's pretty good. Yeah. I think I'm right on that. I'm right on about the 3.4 because sometimes I don't finish all of the cup if it gets a little.

That sounds about, well, I mean, what's a cup? Because I, you know. You know, that's true. What's a cup? Yeah. A cup, I think, is generally considered 8 ounces. I probably drink more than 3 cups if we're talking 8 ounces. Oh, is that right? Yeah. My wife, I make coffee eight ounces. I probably drink more than three cups if we're talking to eight ounces.

Oh, is that right?

Yeah.

My wife, I make coffee for us.

I make coffee for us on Saturday and Sunday mornings, you know, and I will make what is six cups.

And she says, that's not enough.

So I'm making eight cups. she comes down i i drink like

maybe four or five ounces and then i go back for more later on you know that way it's hot i drink

a bucket at a time that's what she does what's up with that because you can't get through a bucket

without it turning cold especially if you you're making like punch. Nah, slam it. You slam it? That first one? Yeah. What do I need a carafe? You need a carafe. I got one for Christmas, so once I make the coffee, you board in the insulated carafe. And then it doesn't get that burnt taste from sitting on the hot. And then I come back

two hours later. It's still hot. How does a percolator work? Our next door neighbors, when I was like

seven or eight years old, I don't know why I remember this, the lanes, they had a percolator
