Well, it is official now. Donald Trump has won the states of Nevada and Arizona, bringing his total electoral college votes to 312 on truth social. Donald Trump said, thank you God, won all swing states and the popular vote by almost 7 million voters. He also noted that he won Texas and Republicans won 31 of 32

statewide judicial branches in that state and every county in the Rio Grande Valley. He says they

were all blue eight years ago and got one million more Texas votes than in 2020. Well, it was announced

last week, of course, Trump named Susie Wiles as Chief of Staff.

He's also started to name a few other posts. Stephen Miller, he was a speechwriter in Trump's

administration, his first one anyway. He was named Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy. He also named

Tom Homan as his border czar. More on Tom Homan in just a little bit.

But of course, the fight over the Senate Majority Leader is kicking into full gear. It seems to be

there are three names being considered as Senate Majority Leader. It would be John Cornyn of Texas,

John Thune of South Dakota, and Rick Scott of Florida.

Now, all three of those in my mind are rhinos of various stripes.

Thune and Cornyn are obviously the worst stripes of rhinos.

Rick Scott, on the other hand, despite the fact that he's not the ideal right winger. He is basically totally

beholden to Donald Trump for Eni's form of relevance. And it seems like a lot of people in Trump's

orbit are trying to float the idea of a Senate majority leader Rick Scott. Donald Trump posted

on truth social over the weekend saying, quote, any Republican senator seeking the coveted leadership position in the United States Senate must agree to recess appointments in the Senate without which we will not be able to get people confirmed in a timely manner.
