And, you know, I think the reason that listeners to this may be hearing in our voices just not fatalism, but a sense of depression and unreality, is where we are in the last week. And the number of weeks where you thought it

could not get worse. I'm just going to do one example, because Barry, you know I like talking about

America on the international stage. Just today, we're hearing that a French judge who was overseeing the case of Le Pen,

who was a far-right person who had run for president in France, and she had to trial on criminal

matters and was convicted under the law on France. She was barred from running for a certain number of years.

Well, it turns out that this French judge reported that members of the Trump administration

came to essentially try and strong arm her to sort of throw the trial and paraphrasing her words.

And she's a very respected, somber judge.
