You call it the unwoodstock.

The unwood stock.

It is claimed that if everybody who subsequently stated that they'd attended that

seminal music festival Woodstock, if everyone who said they'd attended it had actually

attended it, that there'd have been about half the world that what's the Unwoodstock?

For my generation, it's Spike Island.

It's the Stone Roses concert in Spike Island.

If everybody who claimed they were at Spike Island had actually been at Spike Island,

Spike Island would have sunk.

And the Unwood Stock, or the anti-Spike Island,

I wonder how long it's going to be before finding someone who admits to voting for

Brexit is like finding hens teeth, probably not too long, because it is now beginning to bite.

And here is the problem, okay? Here is the problem. Highlighted rather winningly for me,

although you may not agree, not everybody did when I tweeted it, by Robert Shrimsley in the Financial Times talking about the importance of not gloating.

There are two things to say about that. Number one, he's just right. I mean, it's stupid. How can you gloat about something that's going to hurt you? ha ha ha ha i've been proved oh kriky that hurt ha ha ha i've been proved right oh stop it it's just stupid

and i get it some people won't be able to help themselves because Oof, cricky, that hurt. Ha, ha, ha, ha, been proved, right. Oh, oh, stop it.

It's just stupid.

And I get it.

Some people won't be able to help themselves,

particularly the sort of personal, um, uh, interactions you may have had.
