pod. Good to have you with us. Well, forget about this new year getting off to a slow start.

Hey, before most people had even turned over their calendars, the United States had already

invaded Venezuela, captured its president and first lady, and whisked them off to jail in Brooklyn.

The next day, President Trump warned that Colombia, Mexico, and Cuba could be next in line,

and by the end of the week, he was also talking about sending troops

to take over Greenland. While at the same time, he sent 2,000 ICE Asians into Minneapolis,

where one of them shot and killed an American citizen, Renee Nicole Good, mother of three,

whom Trump immediately accused of running over the officer with her car,

which she clearly did not.

At this rate, it looks like it's going to be a long and painful year, but let's start off anyway with this week's big stories with today's panel.
