It's the Saturday Podcast and if you're new to our Saturday podcast just a quick note on how we at the Michael Berry show do it

And that is people would say man, I wish your show was on on Saturday, because you listen all week long.

And then as I started paying attention to what people were saying, they would say,

because on Saturday I washed my car I mow the lawn I go for a walk take my

dog for a walk I garden a lot of our listeners garden they do some home improvement

projects or maybe they just enjoy the beautiful weather on the back porch.

Maybe they reorganized. I'm a reorganized. I love to reorganize and throw stuff away or give throw stuff away. I mean give it away. Give it a new life. I'm a big re-gifter. So if I ever give you something of mine, it is not because I think you're poor and you need my

alms. It is because I'm no longer going to use this and somebody else might be able to put it to good use and if that

someone else is you fine if you say I don't want it cluttering my house

because like you Michael I'm a minimalist I'll go down the list and give it to

someone else because in my life there were

times as a young professional as a college student as a high school student where

if someone said hey I have this pair of nice pair of wing tips I can't wear

them I don't need them anymore they're gently worn if you like yes I got these

set of ties I'm not wearing ties anymore I'm a check yes and I got these set of ties. I'm not wearing ties anymore. I'm a

Yes, and I wore I wore borrowed ties and I was happy to do so. It was always brands that I

couldn't afford and I thought that was really cool. But Saturday is the day when we do a longer

form broadcast and it's often something that I have discovered that week or that month that or that I've gone back to listen to that is too long

for the radio clock if you listen to us during the week, you know that the radio clock is about nine minutes per segment. It varies.

But that means I got to get in and out of a segment and we don't have a lot of time to stick with one subject.

Sort of like we're a newspaper and sometimes you want to read a magazine.
