Hi everyone, welcome to Add Home with Sally. I'm Sally Clarkson and I have the biggest

privilege in the world to be with so many friends from all over the world who join me every

week to listen to my stories, inspiration, biblical encouragement. And I am just so glad

that you're here today. Thanks so much for joining me.

Hello my friends, this is Sally Clarkson with at Home with Sally and I am so glad to be

with you. I am every single time because I love having a community of women who are thinking

idealistically, thinking like mindedly and I am just so excited to talk to you tonight.

I'm a little bit late getting this to my core leaders who helped me put this up because

I've had a very busy day. But tonight is the night when we find out that the troops,

the bases in the Middle East have been attacked. And I was just thinking tonight how important

it is as we go into our life and we look at the next decade. This is a time for Christians

to be Christian, for Christians to be Christ like for us to live boldly, to live into faith,

to give people hope to, you know, heroes are made. Heroes are needed in times when courage

is necessitated. In other words, heroes are those people who come and thrive in the midst

of a difficult time. And I think that I just want to say as we always go through own

your life a little bit in the new year every year, own your life as a book I wrote a number

of years ago because I felt like I hit 60 years old, it's probably six years ago that

I was thinking about this. And I thought, you know, I am so grateful for God, for to see

His faithfulness and to see the ways He has blessed my life. And I thought I feel like

one of the main lessons I learned was that I had agency to live by faith. No one else

could make me live by faith or be faithful or work hard or forgive when it needed to be

or to obey Scripture. But there is something about my early becoming a Christian that so
