Israel is facing global condemnation after striking Hamas within Qatar.

Hamas says yesterday's strike killed five of its members, but failed to assassinate the negotiating delegation in Doha, the target of the strikes.

Countries in Europe and Asia called yesterday's attack a violation of Qatar's sovereignty

and international law.

And President Donald Trump has also criticized Israel, though the White House stopped

short of condemning the strike outright.

It happened as Hamas says its negotiators were reviewing a recent ceasefire proposal backed by Trump.

And now analysts say this attack makes any hostage deal less likely, since any agreement
