Straight into that first story earlier today, Amas released all 20 of the last living Israeli hostages

that has been holding in Gaza.

And while Israel released almost 2,000 Palestinians, it has held in captivity, often arbitrarily, without trial,

and in abhorrent conditions. The exchange is part of a ceasefire deal brokered by Donald Trump,

which many hope, though some remain very skeptical, will bring an enduring end to two years of

relentless genocidal attacks by Israel on the Gaza Strip. The Israeli captives were handed over to the Red Cross in two groups and have all now

and returned to Israel where they were taken to undergo medical examinations.

The remains of 28 dead Israelis captured by Hamas were also due to be returned today.
