What we're discussing is a level of depravity which is beyond the imagination of any decent person.

Israel, of course, has committed every war crime and crime against humanity that it's possible to commit.

What we're discussing here is sexual violence, including rape, and including rape using dogs.

I reported on this originally three weeks ago, nearly. It caused

a firestorm. I was accused variously of spreading an obscene lie and predictably of anti-Semitism.

I'll come on to that. Now, the New York Times yesterday published a piece by Nicholas Christoph.

He's a twice Pulitzer Prize-winning commentator on foreign affairs, as mainstream as it's possible to get,

is reported all over the world. The pieces headlined, The Silence that Meets the Rape of Palestinians.

It's a story which details the systematic rape of Palestinian men, women and children at the hands

of Israeli prison guards, soldiers,

settlers, interrogators. It's based on the testimonies of 14 Palestinians. Now, first of all,

obviously it's welcome that this has appeared in a mainstream publication. In this case,

a newspaper which has done so much to whitewash Israel's crimes. But there's been an avalanche

of testimonies and evidence about the systematic use of sexual violence by Israel against

Palestinians all the way through this genocide and before. In terms of this genocide, this has

taken two years and nine months to appear in a newspaper. I mean, it notes in

the headline, the silence that has accompanied the mass rape and use of sexual violence
