I'm Hugh Hewitt.

And I have not seen you, Dr. Arn, since we were off the coast of the United Kingdom. And so much has happened since we got

off of that ship three weeks ago. I thought I would just open up by asking, what do you make

of the last three weeks since Israel started the 12-day war?

Iran started the 12-day war by threatening death and destruction on two-thirds of the world.

But Israel started the immediate thing, and Donald Trump has struck a blow.

And mostly what I make of it is, I think that we're entering a new phase of American foreign policy, and I hope so.

After the fall of the Soviet Union, we got the impression we could do anything.

And so we started building democracy in Afghanistan and Iraq, of all places.

And now there's a big faction that thinks we can do nothing and should do

nothing. But destroying Iraq's nuclear bomb capacity with 14 bunker busters, well, a bunch of
