What is new here and what is the credibility of a peace plan given Hamas's depredations?

Malcolm, pleasure to be with you on the broadcast.

It raised a lot of eyebrows across the political spectrum in Israel when we heard of and read the plan of President Biden.

Clearly President Biden has only the best intentions to bring peace and in his language to bring peace now, which is a curious

expression because it's reflective of many decades of peace now activism which was

far left activism in the desperate hope the desperate search for peace between

Israel and the Palestinians that but it's been our view at the Jerusalem Center for Public

and now Foreign Affairs that the Peace Now approach, which is sort of instant peace,

is actually what brought the long road, the long bloody road of incitement to terrorism

on the part of the Palestinian leadership, incitement to terrorism,

incentivization to terrorism.
