Why isn't this splashed all over newspaper front pages, leading news bulletins or provoking condemnation from Western politicians?

I'll tell you why. Because it isn't some statement of anger from some activists with no power influence about Israel's genocide.

No. It's a genocidal commitment from a leading Israeli politician who is actually overseeing a genocide.

Indeed, Israel is currently on the rampage in Gaza and Lebanon, which we'll talk about, which most of the media are completely ignoring.

And there's been more of a debate about needing to ban protests against the mass slaughter of innocent people than there

is about the actual mass slaughter of innocent people, which is ongoing.

Now, Israel Kat is the Minister of Defence in Benjamin Netanyahu's government.

In a post celebrating the killing of Hamas' military commander in Gaza, he concluded by saying,

we committed to eliminating everyone who led the October 7th massacre,

and so it shall be, they are all sentenced to death, wherever they may be.

We committed that Hamas will not rule Gaza civilly or militarily, and so it shall be.

And also, the voluntary emigration plan from Gaza will be implemented, everything at the right

timing and in the right manner.

Just to be clear, voluntary migration is an obvious euphemism.

What Israel is committed to as official policy is the removal of the entire surviving

Palestinian population from the home in Gaza.

Indeed, it's clear from the context of the post that Israel cat sees this as part of a package,

killing anyone involved in October 7th, removing Hamas from power, removing the Palestinian population from Gaza.

He's not pretending that's for their own good.

He's making it clear that this would be an achievement from Israel's perspective, essentially a military achievement

in the same way as removing Hamas from power, can they only one involved in October 7th.

Removing the civilian population is a military objective. This is inherently a genocidal commitment.
