Welcome to The Lost Debata Show for Politically Ecclectics. I'm Ravi Gupta and I have gotten so many questions from all of you about the Israel-Palestine conflict.

And so I wanted to make sure that we didn't break for the holidays without me doing justice to all the incredible questions and pushback and arguments that you've all thrown my way.

And so I'm going to take this episode to go through

as many of those as possible. And I want to just say at the outset that I am very careful when

we started covering this conflict to start with historical overview in multiple parts, because I wanted

to make sure that no matter what my opinion is, and I said at the

outset that I have strong opinions about this, and in some cases it would be controversial to some

people, I wanted to make sure that I offered you a service that could help you no matter what

your opinions are and hopefully give you the tools to amend your opinion, shape it, and add detail

to it. And so these are two different types of episodes we do. We do episodes that are like straight up history and all that. We're going to continue to do episodes like that moving forward on a host of different topics, not just this, because we've heard from you that those are very helpful. And then there are going to be episodes where I offer my straight up opinion and sometimes I mix opinion and fact. And this is definitely one of those where I mix the opinion and fact. And I just want to say that outright. And the reason why I do that is because I do think it's important to not just like look at these issues from a disinterested lens, but to say, all right, like I've worked on this issue. I've thought about it a lot. I care about it a lot. And why have a podcast if you don't share what

you think should happen, right? So that's what I'm doing. But I do know that in the end, it can be divisive for some people. And for some people, it could be reassuring. And you'll hear that in these voicemails. But I also want to say that please send in your voicemails.
