I'm Stephen Portnoy. Hey, Brad's been out giving thanks, so I've got you covered as we head into the holiday.

That was the punishing sound of an Israeli airstrike on the Mediterranean sea coast in southern Lebanon,

part of a salvo yesterday, described by the IDF as a series of intelligence-based strikes on 20 terror targets,

including the headquarters storage facilities and branches of the financial system used by Hezbollah.

It was something of a final salvo as it came as ceasefire talks were nearing an end,

talks coordinated by the Biden administration and the French that culminated in this announcement from the Israeli Prime Minister.

And Jimon Netanyahu told Israelis of an agreement for a truce with Hezbollah a ceasefire to last 60 days.

Israel and Hezbollah have been fighting in this current round since just after the

Hamas attack that sparked the Gaza war last year.

In the past few months, Israel has demonstrated its superior intelligence capabilities,

blowing up pagers and walkie-talkies that were in the hands of Hezbollah fighters and killing
