I welcome my colleague Peter Berkowitz of the Hoover Institution, writing his column for Real Clear Politics,

other is this a genuine full scale removal of the prime minister possible because this has been

going on for some time without

resolution good evening to you good evening john actually one could argue that the most urgent

reform that the israeli judiciary requires is the dramatic um acceleration of the process by which charges are brought and defendants are given

their trials. The investigation against Netanyahu was launched really in 2015. That's nine,

almost 10 years ago. And as one of the, one of the journalists said, who was, who was

central in launching these investigations owing to his reporting, he said, if he had known how the

prosecutions would tear the country apart for more than a, for going on a decade, even though

he himself thought Netanyahu had broken the law, he would have never

publicized his findings because of the cost that this legal controversy has imposed on the

country in terms of division and enmity and bitterness.

I want to understand this is a polity that is new to me.
