Hey there from CNN. I'm David Rind with the five things you need to know for Tuesday, May 19th.

The teachers and the kids were like shaking, sad and stuff.

And when the guy kicked, they were all of them were crying.

I heard like a bunch of bad stuff like gunshots.

That's a nine-year-old student at Bright Horizon Academy, which is located inside the Islamic

Center of San Diego.

Police are still learning more about Monday shooting at San Diego's largest mosque, which left

three people dead, including a security guard identified in the fundraiser campaign as

Amin Abdullah. He was the father of eight and is being remembered as a hero.

Police haven't released the name of other shooting victims.

Hours before the attack, the mother of one of the suspects told police her son and car were missing,

along with three of her weapons.

CNN's Kyeong Law is in San Diego where she says,

Investigators are focusing on what motivated the two teen suspects,

who appeared to have died from

self-inflicted wounds and were found in a car near the Islamic Center.

That is going to be the focus of the investigation.

What is it that led a 17-year-old to decide to take this step with an 18-year-old friend?

That early tip-off from the mother, two hours before this active shooting

began, that is what got San Diego police at least heightened in trying to find this juvenile.

There wasn't a specific threat to any particular institution, but they went to the high school.

They were looking for this young man when this active shooting took place.
