0:00.0	Well, hello and welcome to Kindled Podcast. I'm your host, Haley Williams. Today I have a conversation with Raymond Ibrahim on the show, and I'm very excited to bring this to you. He is an American author and translator,
0:22.5	and he's also an expert on Islam. He's written a variety of books, a lot of books, actually,
0:28.5	among them, The Sword and the Cimitar, Defenders of the West, crucified again, exposing Islam's
0:34.8	New War on Christianity, the two swords of Christ and several others. You're going to
0:40.5	learn so much from this conversation. I know I did. I was encouraged. It is a heavier conversation.
0:45.8	It's a heavier topic. It's obviously one that we have seen become very real and pertinent to our
0:51.9	lives today as we are seeing the influence of Islam grow
0:56.0	in our country. And yet, at the same time, I don't think that this is a hopeless conversation
1:03.2	or topic for us to be educated on. I don't think you should walk away depressed or feeling down.
1:09.1	And actually, if you stay till the end, I think you will hear
1:11.5	kind of the veil pulled back behind what seems to be very aggressive, scary, and it really is a
1:18.4	demonically, you know, powered religion. However, it is also inerently weak. And Raymond talks about that
1:26.4	near the end of our conversation. So I would just
1:28.5	encourage you if you're feeling down, don't give up, hang in there until the end, it gets better.
1:33.5	And also just recall that our hope is in Christ. We know who ultimately has won the battle and
