And Allah says a good believer will share his own food with a prisoner of war that has no ethnic, no religious, no even loyalty.

And this shows us that our religion has guidelines even for prisoners.

In the first raka, I recited in Sula Therlisan, the famous verse,

"...wa yutrimun al-ta'am on hishubbi he, misquinen and yeteemen and a seira."

It's very interesting that in this early ayah, Allah, subhanna-ta-a-a-praise the believers

At this point in time, as Ibn Abbas said,

the prisoners were Mushricks.

We're talking about the Quraish having gone to war in Jahiliya.

The war has nothing to with Islam.

The Qarish going to war with another tribe.

And they take members of this tribe

and they make them prisoners in Makkah,
