Journal is that Afghanistan is an ungoverned space.

The Taliban is in league with bad actors, some of whom are al-Qaeda, some of whom might be ISIS on a phone call.

In any event, leaving Afghanistan unguarded means that the transnational threats are unguarded.

And maybe London, maybe what happened in Great Britain is a version of what al-Qaeda wants to do these days.
