| 0:00.0 | Hello, welcome to the Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 edition of the Sandcent Storm Center's Stormcast. |
| 0:07.9 | My name is Johannes Ulrich. |
| 0:09.4 | And today I'm recording from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. |
| 0:14.0 | Just a quick note today on the Storm Center. |
| 0:17.2 | I wrote up a quick diary based on some personal experience recently that it is more |
| 0:23.7 | difficult than it used to be to send SMS messages from applications. Now applications to send |
| 0:31.7 | SMS messages are not just used for two-factor authentication, which of course is somewhat controversial, but also a lot of |

| 1:37.3 | or to use a not-so- expensive toll-free number to send your messages from. |
| 1:44.5 | Some carriers, like for example Verizon, announced that they will have special A2P, as they |
| 1:50.1 | call it, application to person programs that will charge special, of course, higher rates |
| 1:56.9 | for these messages. |
| 2:00.0 | And users at Vogons.org, a website dedicated to essentially dealing with old and end-of-life |
| 2:09.7 | hardware, have noted that Intel has become pretty aggressive in removing old-bias versions for systems that are no longer supported. |
