And we got some good news to start out with.

The people behind Tesla Crypt decided to shut down their ransomware business and now offered the master

key for free to anybody interested on their website.

Now there has been an older tool Tesla Decoder that was able to decrypt older versions

of Tesla Crypt encrypted files with this key.

This tool has now been modified to also decrypt files that were encrypted with more

recent versions of Tesla crypt.

It's not clear what led to this shutdown.

Maybe they got enough money.

Maybe they saw diminishing returns from their malware and decided it's no longer worth

it.

But good that at least people have this master key available now in order to decrypt

any files.

Of course, this was just one of the ransomware families.

We still get reports of people getting infected with other ransomware like Locky.

We just got a couple of reports.

So that's still going around.

And Office 365 is becoming one of the most popular cloud services.

Not surprising, given how tightly it's integrated with the most recent version of Microsoft Office.

Now, Sky High Networks, a vendor that makes a living protecting cloud data data and so far the numbers should be taken
