How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord is late for your faith in his excellent word.

Hebrews 11-6 says that he who comes to God must believe that he is and that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek

group of people in the book of Isaiah who were earnestly interested in knowing what is true and what is false.

We're in the section of Isaiah's prophecy where he foretells the virgin birth of Jesus Christ,

and God is asking people to believe it. On blind faith? No, not necessarily.

You know, I appreciate what Dr. McGee said about testing God.

That God says, test me, try me, and see if I am good. Isaiah built his prophecy on a foundation of truth that people

can trust.

English writer G.K. Chesterton said of testing God, Christianity has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found difficult and not tried.

So turn in your Bible to Isaiah Chapter 7 and in a minute we'll dive into our study, but first we got a great letter from a fellow
