Welcome to Through the Bible with our teacher, Dr. J. Vernon McGee, I'm Steve Schwartz.

Well, we made it. We're about to finish our long journey through

the book of Isaiah. It's been a great study full of amazing vistas of how God works

and high peaks of understanding God's character.

We've certainly learned a lot, haven't we?

And only to realize how much more there is to learn.

Isn't that an amazing thing about God's word?

Well, in this study, it's fitting that along with Isaiah 65

will also be studying revelation 21 and 22 so put a bookmark in those final

chapters of the Bible where God will tell us about the new heavens and the new earth.

One thing that we've learned in Isaiah so far is that God is very attentive to how people

respond to his call on their lives.

And the one way that we know God's word is working in people's lives

is by those who write to tell us. And we love hearing from you, by the way. We also love it

when you post comments on through the Bible's Facebook and Instagram pages or share quotes on

X from the messages every day and we do love all these things because it's evidence

of God's promise to always accomplish what he wants through the preaching of his word.

As you know, May's letter month here through the Bible, and really every month is letter month around here.

We love every letter, every day we get it regardless of when we get it, but May is really kind of a special time.

We do intentionally take that time to read more letters and then we want to give you a special invitation to share your story. We know many people never get around to writing that letter or sending us that email
