Are your best days behind you or still to come?

I'm Steve Schwartz, and thanks for joining us on through the Bible

with our teacher Dr. J. Vernon McGee. We've been traveling on the Bible bus

headed into Isaiah 45 and 46 where Dr McGee says the greatest days

for God and his people are in the future.

And speaking of the future and in honor of Mother's Day on Sunday, let's hear it for

all the moms who are planting God's word into their children's hearts.

To celebrate, here's an amazing letter from a daughter in Romania.

Thank you so much for the program in Arabic.

I met God in Romania as a refugee. I came by boat with my mother, brother

and sister. We are from Iraq. We have been assigned to a refugee center in Bucharest.

At the center I met a man from Turkey who speaks Arabic. He told me about

God. I had my doubts about Islam but in Iraq I could not share them with anyone. This man

invited me to a Bible study group where I met other refugees and some

Romanians. One of them started to disciple me. Then she offered me an

SD card containing your Arabic programs. After listening to it, I have decided that I shall become a

Christian and be baptized. I was worried my mother would be angry, but come to find out, she

had her doubts too and told me we left Iraq to be free of all oppression, including religion.

She now joins me in listening.

Well, isn't that an encouraging story?
