Now our journey on the Bible bus continues to take us through majestic

heights of the Old Testament book of Isaiah as we pull up to chapter 10. So while you

team and I love to do that thank you for inviting me Steve I love just talking to our family about what we're praying about this

week and this week we are traveling on our knees through North Africa one of

the toughest places to bring the gospel and the word of God and yet as we're going to hear it's worth it

We're going to be stopping in Algeria Western Sahara Egypt Morocco and Libya yeah now you made an interesting comment that it's one of the most difficult.

There's so many most difficult places.

Yes, I was going to say that, yeah, that applies to a lot of places.

But in particular, what are the challenges that are faced in North Africa?

Yeah, in the world of missions, many years ago,

someone coined something called the 1040 windows.

So if you look at the 10th parallel and the 40th parallel on a map it would take you across

North Africa into the Middle East and through India and China and that 1040

window of geography contains the most And that roughly one third of that that swath of of countries yeah I think it's an interesting

statistic that says that 90% of the people in this 1040 window have never heard

the gospel even once yeah and see that's why we do what we do.
