Money Mustache, and he was talking about his dilemma, the fact that he wants a Tesla really bad and also doesn't like that he wants it is

kind of what I gathered from it. I hope he'll forgive me taking, you know, interpreting his writing the way I'm about to. But it

did spur a further broader question that I wanted to kind of unpack with all of you

today and I am partially to blame perhaps for Pete's dilemma because he and I went on a road trip down to L. A gosh several years ago in my then new Tesla, a model

us 70 if you were wondering, D if you were wondering, and it was

fantastic and he truly loves the technology as does come across in the post.

And we had a great time using the autopilot and chatting about all sorts of things and just enjoying each other's company well paying attention to the

road but not having to pay as much attention as one normally does. It's

remarkably refreshing not to have to make those micro steering adjustments that

you don't even know you're

making for 10 hours straight. So I'm a little bit to blame for perhaps for Pete's

dilemma. Although had he not found a road trip with me he would have certainly found one with another it actually was

interesting to think about that from a strategic perspective he got to have a good

long ride a good exposure to the car and I think that's helped him at least learn more about this

potential purchase. It was interesting because he talks about the purchase

justification machine where you justify things in your mind. We all will do that all the time for I constantly you have to justify a purchase.

You gonna buy the spinach? Yes. Well is it organic or not you know whatever. It's always happening and then he uses a counterpoint of justifying,

to kind of counter the purchase justification machine,

where he's saying, well, you can give yourself
