This is a daily podcast designed to provide you with a little added motivation to get out and take the walk.

Going to be loud just for a moment and then things are going to quiet down. I'm on a sidewalk next to a main road. Lots of traffic but in about 15 steps I'm going to be turning

onto a path that gets me away from the road and

alongside a lake.

I'm on the path now walking by the lake and this is interesting.

I don't know that I've ever seen this before.

So it's not uncommon on the lake to have a couple of swans.

Beautiful, beautiful birds.

And I'm looking at two swans and they almost always are swimming in pairs.

Every now and then, they might be separated, but it's a temporary thing.

So these two swans are up at one end of the lake, and here's what I've not seen before.

Maybe half a football field away is another swan by itself.

I've never seen three swans on this lake. Usually it's one,

most often two, but never three. So I'm wondering what the story is there. It's a story I won't know.
