This is open to debate. I'm John Donva, I'm here in New York City for the third in our debate series produced in partnership with the Council on Foreign Relations, the Trump Doctrine, A Global Reckoning.

And I just want to take an impromptu 45 seconds to acquaint people with your personalities and who you are.

And I'll start with you, Jeremy.

One of the interesting things about you is that your dad was really a player in the history of the state.

Can you tell us briefly who he was? So my father was a member of the Irgun, which is the right wing,

freedom fighting force. He was a close friend of Monacham Begans. He was a very hard, died-in-the-will right-winger.

He was sent to Vienna to run Jews out of Europe in 1937 and 1939,

and he was in charge of an illegal immigration operation.

And then he ran guns and arms and people to the pre-state, to the Irgun,

which was the force that was fighting from the right

politically. So he did that in 47 to 49. And then he came to the states and then he came to the

states. And settled? Yeah, he, it's a long story, so we only have 45 seconds. I won't bore you

with the details. But he was in and out of the states. He ended up getting married, ended up fighting in the U.S. Army and World War II
