I feel like country music has had such a resurgence just in the last year.

I mean, post Malone is dropping a country album

next month. I'm very excited for it by the way it's going to be so good. You haven't

heard the first two songs he's already put out. One is with Blake Shelton one the

others with Morgan Mon. They are summer bops. So comedian Andrew Schultz was on

his flagrant podcast and he has a theory as to why it has gotten so popular recently.

Like in country, being a person that's out here like,

That's wearing a bandana. That's putting on a grill

acting as if you're this country hillbilly mother-f is a rebellion against popular

culture which is dominated by hip-hop. Hip-hop's going through what rock music went through.

Rock music came out and it was like the rebellious rejection of society.

Hip-hop came in and did the same thing.

Now I think hip-hop has become the predominant

art form for America. And what happens with that is it's corny. Now country's

popping because it is rebellious. As someone who loves country music, I don't really consider myself a rebel.
