Thousands of new US ground troops are heading to the Middle East.

What does it mean?

Is there the possibility of the sort of escalation that some were hopeful would maybe have come to an end?

Are negotiations going to happen properly?

Is this going to end not with the sort of catastrophe?

A lot of people were obviously, well, it's already a catastrophe, but an even greater catastrophe.

These reports of thousands of more US ground troops

headed for the Middle East.

Look, we are in the middle of a negotiation right now.

All of these different moves. Everything

from J.D. Vance's dramatic speech that they're leaving to the ground troops to the blockade

of the blockade. All of this should be read as measures within a negotiation rather than measures

outside or against a negotiation. So, yes, the

U.S. is wanting to go to the next round of talks, making sure that the Iranian see that the U.S.

has troops ready to go in, all of these different things to kind of look tough and make sure that

there is some sort of a credible threat. Reality is, however,

I don't think there is a credible threat. The United States tried war with Iran and it failed.
