I'm pleased to report that we have now made a decisive breakthrough.

After years of tension and promises that Brexit would finally be done,

the Conservatives seem to think that everything is now finished with the deal

that supposedly solves the nightmare of the Northern Irish border.

Will the Democratic Union this party accept it?

We will continue to engage but to government and we will take our time.

So what's different about this deal from the one that came before it?

And is there a catch?

Let's talk about someone that some of us thought we'd seen the back of Matt Hancock

who not so long ago cooperated with the journalist Isabel Oakshop on his

pandemic diaries.

She has now passed a huge number of WhatsApp messages that I guess you must have

amassed in the course of putting that book together with him.

She's passed them to the Daily Telegraph who have begun their coverage

with the allegation that Hancock rejected expert advice on COVID testing in

care homes.
