| 0:48.0 | just war for literally centuries, going back to, I believe Augustine was one of the first to |
| 0:52.9 | actually write about the idea of a just war. |
| 0:55.8 | From a biblical apostolic perspective, from a biblical perspective, I should probably clarify, |
| 1:01.7 | is there such a thing as a just war? |
| 1:05.8 | And if so, what criteria would a conflict have to meet to fulfill that? |
| 1:10.4 | I think there can be with some qualifications, but it is a complicated subject that we should |
| 1:16.6 | not lightly pass over. So let me say some things first. I don't believe that the kingdom of |
| 1:25.1 | God can be merged with an earthly kingdom. They're two separate kingdoms. |
| 1:28.7 | So while we love our nation, just like the Bible says to love your neighbors |
| 1:32.8 | and by extension, your home, which I think could extend to your own country, |

| 1:40.1 | We in America live in a democracy, so I think someone can love their country even if they're |
| 1:45.4 | living under a dictatorship, but we have an extra advantage we can actually appreciate and |
